how do you program the "clicker" remote to a genie intellicode garage door opener??

the instructions for the clicker tell me to match the codes from one remote to the other, but the genie intellicode remote does not have "codes" and neither does the actual garage door opener or the wall mount have one. whta do i do?

Its been a while but here goes. on the back of the opener unit there should be a little red or white button. get on a small ladder and take the remote with you. Press the button on the opener unit until the light beside it starts flashing, then press your remote button. The two will synch up together and then the door will work. Hopefully

Genie has instructions on its website.
Just choose the type for your opener.

Clicker products are not compatible with Genie "Intellicode" systems. The Clicker will only work with Genie systems that use either 9 or 12 dipswitches to set the code. Intellicode systems do not use the dipswitches.
